Last night I went to Wembley to see Oasis. ......my friend Brett did ask how many times I needed to see them....and I think the answer is 107.....we (me, Jo, Lisa and Chris) were seated in the Royal box....but that didn't stop people above us hearling unknown liquid....I wonder if the Queen gets this treatment........
Today I'm off to Lounge on the Farm festival...but just for one night. It's near Canterbury, so not too far.....
In other news.....my sisters travelling companion 30 years ago (when they made they're way to the antipodes via India) is staying with me for a few days. Gail lives in Australia but is on extended leave and visiting Europe....it's SO nice to see her.....

I never hear from Pat & Jo anymore.....where are they? It's Maude's birthday tomorrow and I'm thinking of her.....
God it's SO hot today. I need a new window at the front of my house....one that opens. I should have dealt with it months ago but now I need it...I don't have it and it's stifling.....it's a bit like me not dealing with my log burner not working properly...but who cares in summer?
Took the train to London yesterday....Neil Young in Hyde Park. Hung around in guest area with Prev and Leona...and a few others came and went. Didn't really see any of the supports but Neil was FANTASTIC! Best I've seen him...then Macca came on for the encore of 'Day in the Life'....great day. Kinda wish I was there again tonight for Bruce Springsteen as I've never seen him......
Having tea with Margaret Webb tomorrow. Roscoe's mum who now lives mostly in Spain (I think) so I can get all the goss on him.....
Wednesday I found my self in Guildford. I was having lunch with an old mate, Cath.....the day went something like this...
a) Turned up early after a good run up with my Sat Nav directing perfectly.....but no Cath...so I waited....
b) Cath and her daughter Sacha, turned up...the sun was out....life was good. Obviously Cath had been preparing for my visit all morning, cooking and cleaning......er....
c) The quiche came out of the box and into the oven......then when it was served (alongside a bag of salad) it collapsed
d) We picked up her son from school....then hit a traffic jam where upon Cath read me Barney's school report. Could this day get any better.....
e) A quick stop for the kids sweets saw ME PAYING FOR THEM!!!!!!!
d) Cup of tea and a stale Jaffa cake (I'm REALLY exagerating now)
e) I finally escaped only to spend the next 2 hours in a jam on the M25 on the way to London!
Thanks Cath......can I come back soon?

On Friday Cath had a soiree......she's my neighbor....Simon, Chris, Alison...er... Joelle and Steve all came. We sat in the garden....drank Pimms and beer......kept the snail and slug invasion in check by chucking them back in the flower beds every few minutes.
I stumbled home around midnight.....
In the morning I drove down to Rustington where Prev has a seaside retreat. It's housed in a rather non desript 60's block, but overlookes the sea. Amazing views.
This morning Andy & Sophie went swimming....and the kids posed (briefly) for pictures on one of the Parker Knoll chairs we carried down to the beach.....
I came home via a pint in Brighton with Ivan.....
